Jason McCann was born in the city of Orange and at only two years of age his parents moved to a “cool little house”, as Jason describes it, in Camarillo. His Dad at the time worked for the Department of Water and Power but made the move because of a mechanic job he got in the fork lift industry in Oxnard, California. He comes from a large family with three brothers, six sisters, twins and some of you may know his brother, the talented Pin Striper, known as “Pac Man”.

Jason doesn’t come from an extensive history of long riding, racing or anything. His Dad dabbled with a Triumph early on with his good buddy, Eddie Weilbaecher. “Yeah, that bike was sort of a fable, but real. He only had it for a short time.” Jason’s Dad got a hold of an engine and from the way he describes it, Jason figures it to be a Speed twin. He and Eddie put it together and raced it around town, crashed it a few times and then got rid of it before he went into the Marines and did two tours in Vietnam.
